MOKELE MBEMBE

Africa, at the beginning of the XXI century was still in part unexplored, so it can’t be strange to think to the existence of monsters or animals never discovered, hidden in the heart of the continent, in regions like Mali, Nigeria and Congo.

Right in Congo, for example, we think it might exist a monster, for some features similar to the Loch Ness monster, i.e. the Mokele Mbembe, also called Chipekwe.

It might be similar, according to the reports of various explorers, to a dinosaur, it could have a little horn on its snout, it could have a long tail, a long neck and it could be bigger than an hippopotamus. Many scientists identifies it with a particular species of dinosaur, the Sauropod, that lived between 195 and 65 millions of years ago, survived throughout years, for some mysterious  reasons. The first sighting was in 1919, by Mr. C.E. James.
