GIANT SQUIDS AND THE LIKE 

        June 2003. Near New Zeland, at about 3.600 Km south of Wellington, some fishermen found in their fishing net a giant squid. We already knew that this “monsters” exist, but we thought that they lived only in a depth of more than 1000 metres. 
It went up to the surface following a Patagonia’s fish (2 meters long), but it was trapped by a fishing net. It was 6 meters long and it had saucer-shaped eyes of 30 centimetres of diameter. But it was a female specimen; a male squid can be long also 12 metres! So, it may be a danger for little boats that go there, like the giant squid that attacked the Nautilus in “20000 leagues under the sea” by Jules Verne. Nowadays, this specimen is at the National Museum of Te Pata of New Zeland and several zoologists are studying it.

During the first days of July 2003 a strange thing was found in a beach in Chile. It seemed a big deflated ball, then we understand that it was something organic. That being, that was already in a state of decomposition, was a gigantic invertebrate of at least 12 metres of diameter, white/transparent, a species of mollusca or polyp, it may also look like a gigantic jellyfish. Anyway, it is something new for scientists. Now it’s studied in the university of Chile, where it was carried. All the same we can’t exclude that this “thing” came here from another world or from another dimension.
